1. [uncountable] the act of agreeing or of coming to a mutual arrangement.
2. an arrangement accepted by all parties to a transaction:
   [countable] At long last we had an agreement.
3. [countable] a contract or other document giving details of such an arrangement: Sign the agreement here.
4. Grammar [uncountable] in English, the correspondence in form between the subject and verb in certain tenses, or between a noun and a possessive pronoun: Subject verb agreement was her biggest grammar problem.
